Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia with an area of 13,884.2 sq. miles (35,960 sq. km) and a coastline of 129.24 miles along the East Peninsular Coast. The state has a population of more than one million people. It lays claim to having Peninsular Malaysia's longest river, the Sungai Pahang, and its highest peak, the 7,175.1 foot high (2,187 m) Gunung Tahan. |
