Diving with fishes

Malaysia is fast becoming one of the world’s leading dive destinations with one of the richest marine environments in the Indo-Pacific Basin. Sipadan is recognized as the top-five dive destination in the world.

Malaysia is apart of the Coral Triangle, which harbors 75% of all known coral species, 53% of the world’s reefs, 40 % of the world's coral reef fish species, and six of the world’s seven species of marine turtle.

With an incredible bio-diversity of marine life, divers may see schooling Hammerhead Sharks, huge schools of barracudas, various species of turtles, a bizarre Frogfish, and a Ghost Pipefish, among many other exotic species.

Top dive sites around Malaysia include diverse underwater geography such as sloping reefs, coral blocks, wall dives, deep dives, drift dives, and wreck dives.

Dive centers in Malaysia are well equipped and certified by internationally recognized dive agencies like PADI, SSI and SSAC. All scuba diving courses in Malaysian waters are also endorsed by these certifying agencies.

Most of Malaysia’s dive resorts are situated on the islands of Sabah, which are fringed with white sand beaches and coconut trees, a beautiful setting to complement the excellent diving conditions.
