Well-known Chef Zak Pelaccio to Appear as Special Guest
Los Angeles, CA (February 17th, 2006) - Epicureans and foodies can get an authentic dose of exotic Malaysian cuisine on Martha this Tuesday, February 21st, 2006. The nationally syndicated lifestyle television series hosted by Martha Stewart will feature well-known Chef Zak Pelaccio of Fatty Crab, a gastro-pub and street food cafe that serves Malaysian cuisine in the Meatpacking District of New York. The restaurant has received rave reviews in The New York Times and Time Out New York since it opened in September 2005.
Notorious for his passion for the stimulating flavors of Southeast Asia, Zak Pelaccio previously worked for six months at a local restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. His cooking is based on nostalgia and experiences during his travels. His cuisine at Fatty Crab combines the influences of Malaysian, Chinese and Indian, reflecting the rich multicultural heritage of Malaysia. Pelaccio is also chef of 5 Ninth, another popular restaurant that features New York modern cuisine.
During his special appearance on Martha, Zak Pelaccio will stir up savory Malaysian cuisine that will entice your taste palette.
