Brought to you by TENNIS CHANNEL:

Tennis Channel will have live coverage (and prime-time replays) of the second leg of the Asian exhibition tour, featuring a clash of tennis titans: current world No. 1 Roger Federer against retired longtime No. 1 Pete Sampras. The colossal showdown between two of the all-time Grand Slam champions takes place Nov. 22 in Kuala Lumpur at 7 a.m. EST .

Event Background:

Pete Sampras and Roger Federer are arguably the best players to ever play the game of tennis. No one can deny the talent or utter dominance of each in his time, but the question remains: Which one is truly the best tennis player ever?

We have just one clue, their only lifetime meeting, a match that perhaps raises more questions than it answers. In a fiercely contested fourth-round battle on the green grass of Wimbledon in 2001, Federer ended Sampras' 31-match tournament win streak, 7-6, 5-7, 6-4, 6-7, 7-5. It was the first time in Sampras' Wimbledon career that the seven-time champion had lost a fifth set, but many left thinking either player could have emerged victorious.

No one can take anything away from either man - each has contributed to the glory of the game. While Sampras' legacy and place in history is set in stone as the game's all-time Grand Slam winner, Federer continues his relentless assault on the record, now just two titles behind Sampras' record 14.

It is impossible to predict the winners here, unless you count the game's fans who, in the span of two decades, have had the privilege of watching two of the sport's greatest, leave their marks upon the sport. That being said, it has always been subject for debate: Who is the best? The answer has been unknown.

Until now.
