Otak-otak
Tourists to Malaysia may not get the chance to visit the quaint, quiet town of Muar but they can always get a taste of its favorite dish, otak-otak. Cooked fish meat is blended together with lemongrass, spices and coconut milk. This mixture is wrapped in leaves and grilled over a charcoal pit. Slivers of smooth, soft and firm fish meat, colored orange by the spices, emerge from within the burnt leaf wrapping.

Devil Curry
As its name suggests, this is a hot curry that utilizes more than a dozen spices and a host of vegetables and ingredients. It goes well with chicken and beef. The tedious preparation process and tastiness of the curry makes this a dish to relish.
